In 1991, Jeff Salter saw a need for a company to assist the elderly with certain needs in their homes such as non-medical services like bathing, dressing, errand running, housekeeping and meal preparation.

Jeff worked in the home health industry, where nurses came in to the home and administered skilled services such as disease management, health monitoring, medication delivery or other medical care, then went on to see another patient. That same year, Jeff founded the first professional senior care company in Odessa, Texas to meet that need.

Overall Feedback:

I would highly recommend Caring Senior Service of San Antonio. I recently moved to SA with my 87 year old father-in-law. I met with the staff at CSS of SA before the move and immediately, I was impressed by the thoroughness of their approach to my father-in-law and my needs. The aides selected for us are amazing. They are professional, punctual and knowledgeable, but also caring and affectionate. When I had to make several trips pertaining to my move, I was nervous about leaving my father-in-law with people I didn’t know very well. However, the staff updated me regularly and did all they could to assure me of the great care he was receiving. I have also received excellent follow-up from management. In short, my experience has only been wonderful.
