Our experience after waiting almost a half hour on a slow day was burned German pancakes, and cold- raw hashbrowns. We were offered to have the pancake remade, (which we did) but it arrived raw.. after 23 minutes! Idk if we will ever be going back..

It's a sad day in Portland, OR Elmers restaurant has taken a huge dive as a 20 year customer it's extremely disappointing what has been done to the establishment of Walt Elmer the quality of food has gone. There is none anymore and the prices continue to rise as the quality of food and service declines it's a shame what has been done to what was once the best place in Portland,OR to eat. I won't be going back EVER. Shame on the dayna brother's for what has been ruined for all Portlanders. You guys have blown it!

Went to the Elmer's in Roseburg, OR last Friday with 2 elderly guests. The help were snotty, condescending and the service s-l-l-l-l-l-o-w. Menu fare was average. Very disappointed and won't be back. A particular waitress needs to keep her mouth in-check around customers, especially the elderly, with foul language heard near our table.

I used to love this place, but today I just don't want to go back ever again ! We went in at around 1pm and was hot outside, but once we went inside, it was as hot inside as it was outside. I couldn't believe they never turn the a/c while we're there. I will make sure we won't go back to that place....EVER !!!
